Whether you want a leisurely stroll or a challenging hike you will enjoy the many backroads and trails from which to choose. Check out the Bruce Trail, other public trails systems or wander Breathe Easy's 140 acres of forest and field.
Cycling, motorcycling and snowmobiling
The rolling Hills, river valleys and winding roads are great for mountain biking, and if you prefer to explore by motorcycle, check out this site. In winter check out the snowmobile trails.
Country drives
You will find much to see wandering our backroads, but keep your eyes out for Amish buggies and homesteads, and for wildlife such as deer, foxes and wild turkeys. There are also many opportunities for antique hunting in towns like Neustadt and Paisley.
Canoeing and kayaking
But don't miss the chance to dip your paddle into one of the many small lakes and rivers in the Saugeen River System. Or try some of the other boating opportunities on nearby Georgian Bay and Lake Huron.

Nature
There are so many natural treats in store for you in and around Breathe Easy. From the many windows of the cottage you can engage in birdwatching, or step out onto the decks for some star-gazing in brilliantly clear skies. You can visit conservation areas or go on guided treks. And the library at Breathe Easy is well stocked with nature guides.
Fishing
Grey County has it all, with plenty of lake fishing, river fishing and fly fishing, as well as tackle shops, boat launching facilities and even a fly fishing school. For example, fishing the nearby Saugeen offers some of Ontario's best chinook salmon and rainbow trout runs. The Saugeen River, consisting of naturally sheltered feeder streams and spring fed lakes, is an angler's haven for large and small mouth bass, brown and book trout, northern pike and muskie.
